I helgen åpnet Montebellorittet årets føreste NorgesCup maraton.
– Today’s Montebellorittet started great taking the KOM prize. Out onto the gravel some of us pushed to make a small group… today was always a large group. A couple of times I tried to break it up. After the group caught me from a solo effort the winner from Sweden, Fredrik Edin escaped alone and won with 1 minute. His timing was Deffinately better! I was left in a small bunch that came into a sprint and I went backwards fast – their gunpowder was dryer, says Greg Saw (on his facebook).
– 6th place was far from my hopes. I thought the race was too short, only two and a half hours racing in a Norges Cup Marathon. It was a good race for me, just the last 150 meters I was left behind. 2 seconds behind 2nd, says Greg.
